About GeoRiskNet
GeoRiskNet is a global network of experts and practitioners committed to advancing understanding of geohazards and risks, and building resilience through shared knowledge, meaningful partnerships, and strategic advocacy. We are dedicated to enabling open and accessible geohazard datasets, analysis tools, and expertise, promoting inclusive knowledge exchange and capacity development, bridging science, policy, and practice, advocating for the integration of multi-hazard risk assessment, and championing innovation to support effective disaster and climate risk management.

Vision
To make the world safer from geohazards
We advocate for investment and policy to advance the understanding of georisks and risk management.
We create the space for knowledge sharing and catalyzing collaborations.
We develop programs to build capacity.
We promote open and accessible data and tools, understanding of the multi-hazards and multi-risks, and bridging information to action.
Mission
Together, we strive to build a connected, empowered, and forward-thinking community that understands and reduces the risks from geohazards.
